neither one of them will do you any good unless you have other mods to back it up. lots of people say you should improve the intake side first and i would have to agree. my truck consistantly ran a half second faster at the track after i put an airaid CAI on it. if you have a magnum 3.9 a CAI, better throttle body, and 1.7 roller rockers will give you much more power than just a tuner alone. i would say that after you do all those mods, and a better exhaust then it might make sense to get a tuner.
