does anybody with the 3.9 v6 engine have to add oil between the 3000 mile oil change intervals.mine is a2003 with 50000 miles.

120,000 miles on my stock internal 3.9 I run
the royal purple 6,000 miles and never have to
add any oil

most oil usage I have found with the 3.9 is
valve seals or leaks

most will begain to use oil from rings around
250,000 miles

take a compresion test see where your at also
read your plugs to see what is going on
