Well, I am wanting to put a V8 into my truck and since I really do not trust the Ax15 I am looking forward to buying a little bit tuffer of a Transmission. What should I get? The NV3500?, Tremec, TKO... What?

depends on your budget. i'm sure you could find an nv3500 for about 4k less than a Tremec.
