I'll try and keep it simple.

I have a 1999 dakota Reg. Cab 2wd.
I got some rims off a 1995 Extended cab 2wd Dakota.

I put the rims on my truck and the bolt pattern was correct they fit fine.

But on the inside of the front rims the Brake Caliper rubs on the rim!

Is there a spacer of some sort I can get to make these rims fit?

I only need about a 1/2" to clear the caliber.

Has anyone ever put these rims on a 96-04 Dakota?

Another question is which is the left side and which is the right side of the vehicle?

Driver side = Left
Passenger side = Right
OR
Driver side = Right
Passenger side = Left

Thanks for the HELP.
