The anti lock brakes have fasiled again on my 1993 dakota. The brake light is on again. It seems to be the prportioning valve again. Does anyone know if yoiu can bypass the antilock setup and just have normal brakes? As of now I have no rear brakes whatsoever. Thanks Don

sure you can disable them, you have to plumb around them. but beware...you MUST have a proportioning valve on your rear brakes or they will lock up constantly. bypass your abs dump valves, and if your o.e.m. proportioning valve isn't leaking, it should be ok. you will have to cut the old nuts off and reuse them, you cant but those big goofy nuts for the 3/16'' line. i you need a proportioning vave, call dodge, or spend 40 bucks and call summit and get a universal inline one, they are adjustable, i've used them so i can line lock easier at the strip but just turning a nob. any other ?'s on thabs, let me know. anythings cheaper than buying a new dump assembly,if you can find one. good luck!
