sitting at a stop light this guy looks over and
says whats with the hood scoop you think that
piece of $hit dodge is fast
A newer full size with a V8 told him see bakers
driveway up there thats just about a 1/4 mile
lets go
LOL wasted him by 10 truck lengths
Than hes like what the "uck I said you are driving
the piece of $hit not me LOL
was he pissed
Than he said I guess the scoop is not fake LOL
what the hell is in that truck
Just a little V6 my friend and he left with his
tail between his legs and a red face
I just love it when a smart a$$ like that gets
his doors blown off and cant even come close

LOL, that's awesome Larry.
I remember when I was young and dumb and armed with a 1965 Plymouth Fury with a 383, red and loud and pretty nice to look at for a 21 year old kid without a clue...was driving home one night and some old dude in a beat up 60's belvedere with mismatched hubcaps pulled up next to me at a light.
All I remember is seeing that car twisting its body against the torque as he launched from the light as he blew my doors off soundly.
I laughed all the way home...it was great! I looked good, but didn't have the performance to match it...he had the opposite. Gotta love sleepers.

Dangit its posts like this one that really stimulate the modits bug.
BTW Larry i remember a long while back that u sayed u had a local shop that was going to make a stroker kit?
The only place i know of is http://strokerkits.com and they dont sell the kit anymore. If they do i doubt its for its old price of 2,400.

No he only made a few for a local racing team
and I was just there at the right time
strokerkits still makes them its a 6 month wait
and $3000 I think now
comes with crank rods and pistons
Ya what that chevy needed was some ketchup LOL
My 1 nephew was with me he said dam this thing
is faster than my mustang
he has a 02 3.8 V6 convertible nice little car
I just touched 100mph and left off either it
was just over 1/4 mile or my truck is faster
than I thought it was
100mph in lockup 3rd is just over 4000rpm
I just hit it 1/4 throttle after it squeled a
little and grabed I tromped it chirped 2nd
at 4600rpm 40mph 2nd at 4600 like 70 at 80mph 3rd
it will lockup and learch forward the trans
works great
I always shut O/D off when racing
It is a sleeper people who ride in it or drive it
think there is a V8 under the hood
It is a very fast 4x4 all the mods and a port
polish it has layed down 191 hp at the wheels
186 189 respectivly on the dyno
this stock internal motor also has 118,000 miles
on it must be the royal purple LOL

yea that reminds me of my dumb self when i was on the interstate, im cruzin along in my V6 and i see this rustbucket, and i mean POS no exxageration, some old guy ploppin along, this sounded like it was missin, well i look over and give it some gas cause me bring 16, duh, well anyway all i hear is a motor come to life and BWAHHHHHHHHHH right by me, i get out at the next exit where he also got off and went looked at him and he said " you old wippersnappers need to learn what a godda*n V8 is", i was like well i know what it is, and he said well u need to realize body aint everything, then he said "blown 360" and i about crapped,..... sleepers will get you everytime

Well that may be true I still have my 69 road
runner blue printed and ballanced with a 6 pac
that will do 10.02 @ 135mph 1/4 mile LOL

I traded a 1970 chalager 318 4 speed for this
car back in 1977 gee had this thing for almost
30 years now had about $4000 invested now its
probably worth $40,000 all numbers matching car
org 383 just a little modded out LOL dyno just
over 500 ponies on 114 octain fuel 11.5 to 1
comp and a very hot cam 4 speed cintrifical asst
clutch and traction bars shes got some snot
has never seen even a flake of snow since I owned
it
