I used to have a glasspack on my 97, RC, V6-5speed. If it is the right size and is not crystalized they sound pretty good.

sound everyone likes differant

some noisy

some quit

The thing here is if you lower the back pressure
to much the low end torque goes with it

another falicy
a motor does not need to be noisy rattle your
ears to perform you can have the flow and
still maintain a good sound quility

If you want more back pressure just cram a potato into the tail pipe and see how much it improves performance.
