Hi I have a 93 Dodge dakota with the 3.9 it has about 160000. Recently I noticed the truck seems to act funny, its like its missing or trying to shift but doesent between 2000-4000 just little jolts. Any help would be appreceated greatly

Have you changed the plugs and wires lately sounds like its just missing. maybe a tune up will fix it. at least thats what it sounds like. Are you sure its trying to shift? if you are lugging the motor at 2000-4000 it could produce those results.

Turns out eddie was right, all the truck needed was a new set of wires and plugs. It was just missing not shifting.
