distance sensor on rear end
speed sensor on trans

these also effect abs

a stuck valve in the abs valving block

also I am not sure about the 00 duramgo but
the g2 daks had a seporate computer for abs
located behind the pass side kick pannel

try bleeding the entire system you may get the
small piece of dirt out

right rear pass side
left rear drivers side
right front pass
left front drivers
in this order
this would be the first thing to try I have had
them triping the light and this solved it but
I have never had any locking up

I have run into 1 bad abs computer controler
with the rear brakes not working at all perhaps
your went the other way but its rare

Depending if drum or not.
I had a 2000 F-150, would lock up the rear tires the first 3-4 stops in morning (every morning). Was bad brake shoes (from Ford, was a TSB), they would retain moisture, and swell taking up the clearance between drum and shoes. Try a quality pair semi-metallics. Hope this helps. Mine was worse on rainy nights, damp mornings, this time of year in NW Indiana. Look like quite the dumba#@ dragging your rear end into the gas station.
