I on't know the answer to your question, in fact, I don't know if there's any difference in the springs.

What size tire are you putting on? On my 92 I'm running BFG 235/75-15 ATs on 97 OEM alloy wheels.
They fit, with only a very slight rub at full lock. When the tires wear down a bit there is no more contact.

BTW-if you buy the Liberator brand tires at Wal-Mart they are much cheaper-and the very same tire.

i was told that the v8 springs are taller because of the heavier motor vs the v6 i plan on running 235/70-16 a/ts

it's not that the v8 springs are taller. if anything the v8 springs may have a different spring rate than the v6 springs. call a dealer and check the part numbers. maybe they could tell you if there actually is a diff. between the two. personally, i don't think there is any diff.

Larry,

do you know where i can get good aftermarket suspension parts??

I really need to get rid of this crappy riding lowering kit i
installed in my truck... it came with everything but i might just
install the stock suspension

have you heard of anyone making stiffer springs or somethin for
the stock control arms?

GREG K,

wheel horsepower or from the motor?

as of now i have no clue how much power shes producing,
but after a few other mods like a 48mm throttle body, a pair of
headers, and a performance computer i should be in the neighborhood
of 230 hp at the wheels

I would guess that is somewhere around 270-280 hp from the motor AFTER the mods

im sure Larry could tell me how much hp i have right now, probably
not much considering how much my stock throttle body is restricting
