i was wondering if anyone can write up a detailed instruction for changing the thermostat, and also could you include pictures? ive read like every how to on this site and im having trouble getting a visual. thanks alot guys. also i have a 2000 sport v6

Someone responded on that site, saying he didn't have to remove the alternator to do the job.
If that's the case, how did he manage to scrape the old gasket off the manifold?
That must have been a real "Joe Permatex" job!
