 Subject: Shifting Problem

I have a 92 Dakota 5.2 4x4 with tow package. The transmission will not shift into 3 and overdrive until it is warmed up. The truck has had a 2 fluid and filter changes in the last 60,000 miles. What could the problem be? I checked for this temperature sensor I have read in other posts and I can't find it. I posting here not much help on the v8 board.

get a scan
no sensor will read 4.8 volts
with sensor lower
either by rad or right in line by trans
the comp will not shift below 100 120 degrees
on engine temp check this sensor also it may
be bad
