the shift improver kit is the basic transgo
setup

the TFOD518 has 3 diff stages you can run

upto 98 lockup TCI 220500 works very well

with either kit should also replace

TV valve plunger and sleave $29
1-2 accumulator $29
transmissionpartsusa.com

A leaky TV espesialy with the transgo will
cause eradick shift points

bad 1-2 accumulator will cause slide bump and
or soft shifts

If you have over 100,000 miles on your trans
plan on these 2 parts

I have a 94 with a 42rh going in for a leaking front seal. It is at 100,000 mile. What should I
expect pay if I ask them to replace those two parts and install a improver kit. It's a small
but nationwide shop Mr. transmission. They want
$450 for the reseal. I saw the kit for about $125

The 97 guy if your shift points are eradic it
could be the sensor and sol for pressure

the 97 has the RE electronic pressure controled
by the computer if either of these are bad it
will do all kinds of strange things

around $200 just need to drop the pan and change
them good fluid and a new filter and it should
be just fine

The shift points you describe are some exact
symtomes of this
