Hi, I just purchased this 4x4 3.9l truck. Can anyone tell me if it is a good truck and what to beware of. The first thing I noticed is that it rides hard like a truck. Can I go to 16.5 inch rims? What will happen to the ride? thanks, jamie

16.5? well the size of the rim doesnt really affect the ride of the truck, i kno that the sidewall on the tires act like a spring themself but an inch isnt going to be that much of a difference. i owned a 99 4x4 with a 3.9 auto. that thing was bullet-proof i loved that truck but i just bought it to fix and sale but one word of caution. i wouldnt go with a bigger tire than 30x9.50, mine had 31x10.50 on it and it had no top end. you hit a hill and it would fall flat on its face. the rough ride.. well the only way around that is to sell it and get a 2wd... but hey its a 4x4 it supposted to be rough lol
