i replaced this IOA fuse cause it was blown and now my stereo and cigeret litter and windsheild wipers all stay powered on when i turn my truck off and thke the key out and open the door. does this not seem weird, i even rest my computer and it still does it. ne info would be great

sounds like that IOD fuse that you pull to avoid parasitic battery voltage loss for short term storage blew ( 10amp ) and when he replaced it, nothing shuts off now. Guess someone has a short unfortunately. I'd pull the fuse for the radio circuit itself first an see if that helps any. Something is sending power through that IOD circuit and we need to figure out what the culprit is.

No working IOD fuse and you will lose a healthy portion of your performance because the computer cannot learn due to lack of voltage to memory.

BTW, the IOD fuse is attatched to the radio, engine management computer, dome lights and cigarette lighter circuits.

ya sorry it was the iod fuse i wasnt 2 sure what the problem was, or y the Deck is on all the time, i did put it in my self did i hook up the power wrong. does this happen with stock as well. i just take my face plate off know so no power loss, my cigerette lighter turns its self off after a while, is that it reaching a certain point and the computer is breaking the circuit.
