motor runs great getting ready to put a v8 in my truck the motor has 160,000 miles on it, brand new timing chain and gears, can hear motor run and i have a a500 tranny that ill sell or throw in with it, i have a rebuild kit for the tranny just no time to mess with it.... Make offer.. trades welcome

where are you located? i've been looking for an engine to rebuild. since i have a 3.9 in my truck, why not rebuild one for when my goes t ocrap. ballpark you're looking for to sell both?

thanks for replying, Andrew! I'm sure it's worth 500.00, but it'll take 150 in gas and 15 - 20 hours driving to get it. it'd be a nice road trip there and back, not sure i'd want to spend 500.00 plus gas for it. i want a motor for my 10 y/o son and i to rebuild during the winter and to have a spare on hand just in case my 162K motor goes out. i'll think about it though...
