I have a code 720 popping on my diagnostic machine I was wondering how can you tell weather or not it's the tranny speed sensor or the sensor in the rear diff I have a '98 with the 3.9 2wd

Does it have ABS ?
If so -differential sensor fault will put on the ABS warning light.
Tranny sensor won't..
Sounds like the tranny sensor at fault on yours..
