I went out to my truck today and tried to start it. After cranking it 3 times for about 5-7 sec each time, the battery went dead. So I jumped it and drove it for 10 min then let it sit at idle for 15 min before turning it off. I then immediately tried to restart it after shutting it off and got nothing. So tuned it off, pulled the key out of the ignition and when I did I heard a clicking noise coming from the passenger side dashboard, but when the key is in and turned to run it doesn't make any noise. Now obviously I probably need a new alternator, but does anyone know what that click is, is it cause the battery is low? Is it something dealing with an airbag system? Any feed back is appreciated.

probably hearing a relay clicking on and off
get the alt fixed and a good batt and all will
be fine

there are 2 or 3 relays in the fuse box under
the dash depending on what options the truck has
