I have a 93 3.9 Dakota,can I just goto a wrecking yard for a v-8 tb. For the people that have done this is there a noticable gain. How bout your mileage. Also will any year v8 tb fit on my truck.Thanks for all the great info

I called the Dodge dealer and they say for 91-94 v6 and v8 use the same throttle cable is that true. I then I might get lucky. Also called local wrecking yard and found v8tb for my year is 125.00 is that good.

I also have a 93 Dakota with the 3.9l engine but a 4X4. I just picked up a V8 TB off of a 93 Ram with a 5.2l from a local scrapyard with all sensors in working order and I paid $125 Canadian. The throttle cable connections are exactly the same. Still need to clean it up some and then install. Hope this helps.
