Ok here is the deal. When I drive my truck to work it startes to loose power and misfire about a mile down the road. But then I will throw it in Neutral and rev it up and then it will be fine the rest of the way to work. Has anyone had this problem?

Throw it in neutral and rev it up?? Are you saying that if the engine is warm, there is no backfiring?

What year is truck ?
Possible plenum gasket problem ???
Sensor "tired " -[ O2 ]
sounds as if it happens when computer starts
going into ({ closed loop }).
Then either the sensor completes warm-up
or the computer compensates ???

Hey mine did the same thing last winter and it ended being up being the Crankshaft positioning sensor. It would run fine until I drove for about 3 or so miles and then backfire not want to move hardly untill the motor got good and warm. It'll cost you about hundred bucks.
