Any brass cap and rotor. Autozone carries a set, and I believe you can get Accel parts at Advance Auto.

I've used Taylor 8mm wires in the past and liked them a lot, and they can be had fairly cheap ($32 I think) from Summit.

Plugs, I like the plain Autolite's. I've heard both good and bad about platinum plugs.

Dito on the cap and rotor: Accel

I have MSD super conductor 8.5mm wires

As for plugs, personally preference, but cheaper plugs work better for our trucks, these plugs being the Autolite 3923's. These plugs are one heat range cooler than the stock ones(5224's), so if you have problems with pinging, these are perfect. I have E3 plugs in mine.

If it doesn't fit, force it. If it breaks...well...it needed to be replaced anyway.

cuzindoug,

Tell us about your experience with the E3.
I tried a set, and they pinged like hell.
And they were the 3923 equivalent.
So I put the 3923s back.

colder plugs are needed when you increase compression or are trying to elm. a pinging issue

an my 2 cents on wires and such
MSD wires are great
cap and rotor = another you can add to your list
NAPA, they carry Echlin which are american made and brass ( i paid something like $8 or $10 )

I noticed pinging as well when I first installed them, but I increase the octane (89 instead of 87) of the fuel I burn. The truck idles alot better, and has better acceleration. I'm not sure they are worth the $7 a plug for my truck, but they work outstanding, and ARE worth the money in my wife's car (01 Camry), better than the Bosch +2's or +4's.

If it doesn't fit, force it. If it breaks...well...it needed to be replaced anyway.
