Below is the Trailer Life towing ratings

http://www.trailerlife.com/output.cfm?id=42175

I'm interested in your towing experience with the Quad Cab 4x4 V6
Trailer Life List the towing ratings for the QC 4x4 V6 as:
3,450lbs 3.55 gears and manual transmission
4,250lbs 3.90 gears and manual transmission
4,650lbs 3.90 gears and auto transmission
?????lbs 4.10 gears and auto transmission?

Do these towing limits seem reasonable and comfortable for towing?
Any experience towing at these limits?

Any guess what the towing limit would be with the 4.10 gears? I'm guessing 5,000. then again my large tire size may lower the limit

overall the 4.10's are gonna give ya the best responce on towing... but tire size will effect it also.... stock tire size with the 4.10 wether its manual or automatic are gonna give the best setup for what your truck can handle... my 99 ext. cab 2wd has the 3.55's and has towed 5500 pounds but i keep the O/D off on highway when i tow over 3500 pounds if im in a area that has hills.... if im on a flat highway and im cruising at decent spend i might turn on the O/D im towing under 4000 pounds.... im soon to be going to 4.10 cause im getting new wheels and tires soon that are going to be 18's or 20's...so that should give ya a round about idea on what ya should do for a setup....
