My truck is alittle dirty but go and check out my new hood! I bought the hood at a junk yard, stripped the paint, installed a fiberglass Six-Pack hood scoop, and then spray painted it flat black until i have enough money to get it professionally done. Its all functional and I am getting ready to build the air collector thing tomorrow.

Now that's a scoop from hell!!:) Nice job by the way. What mods have you done to the intake/exhaust portion of the truck to make use of the new air flow?

If it doesn't fit, you're using the wrong hammer!

I'm gonna guess every one of those slamming it are the same exact person...I think it looks neat. Good idea bout painting the hood flat black...I was just gonna put my cowl induction hood on in primer but flat black looks much better than primer.

Yeah I am not done with it. I might change the color of the hood back to flame red and keep the scoop black. I just need money to get it profesionally done.

cuzindoug... I havent done to much to the intake and exhaust. I have a 10" Edelbrock air cleaner w/ 3" KNN, V8 TB and I have a Super 40 for an exhaust. I have decided to stop spending money on all these V6 performance parts and save up for a 5.7L HEMI. you know?

HA! Yeah, i guess that would be cheaper in the long run:)

If it doesn't fit, force it. If it breaks....well, it needed to be replaced anyway!!

How's that super 40 muffler sound on the 3.9L? I been thinking about replacing my 40 series with a super 40.

It sounds great for a V6. I was at the beach the other day and heard acouple people either say... "That sounds good" or " That V8 sounds sweet". If you go to my cardomain site up above you can scroll down and see the muffler w/ that 12" advanced auto parts exhaust turn down. All in all it sounds great! good luck and I bought mine at summitracing and did all the exhaust work myself. It was super easy.
