Before '98: LT1
1/4: low 14's to high 13's at around 99-102mph.

'98 and up: LS1
1/4: mid to low 13's at around 105-109.

Those things aint no joke. Quite a few 6spd LS1's have dyno'd upwards of 300hp to rear wheels completely stock. That translates to upwards of 340hp at the crank (as opposed to the 320hp that the factory states).

yea but i figured the twin tubo AWD stealth r/t would at least keep up. the stealth registers at 320hp(stock) and he has quite a few mods......i also am not use to racing in with a 5spd so that slowed me down too but it beat me by about 2-2 1/2 car lengths at 100......i was actually expecting to take him shows what i know about GM cars. lol

but the LS1 has twice the torque... that's what gets you going off of the line and all.

yeah, my mom's 2000 Z28 dynoed at 307 to the wheels and at that time only had a SLP y-pipe, flowmaster muffler, granetilli mass air flow sensor with airbox, and a K&N filter. not too bad since stock they are around 270 at the wheels. Since then she has added a full 3" SLP exhaust with no muffler and a power programmer. the programmer alone is suppose to add 27 horsepower according to tests done with them.

far left is my dad's camaro, next is my brother's 1979 Z28 (runs 7.5's in the 1/8th), then my other brother's 1996 Formula, and my mom's 2000 Z28... where's my dakota?

Intnense, actually stock for stock the torque figures are similar. The 1st Gen Stealth that n8 dawg was driving (judging by the 5spd trans) makes 307 ftlbs of torque at 2500rpm and 300hp by 5600rpm.

n8 dawg, how did you launch? Most of the Stealth's 1/4mile times are based on their AWD launch. 1.7-1.8 second 60ft times are what net their mid-high 13's@ only about 100-103mph. After the launch the AWD is more hurtful than helpful, with around 23% driveline loss. And, yeah, the auto-tranny LS1 cars get off the line very well. A friend of mine pulls 2.0 second 60ft times all day long at the track with a near stock T/A.

Gearing also comes into play here. The 5spd Stealths are geared WIDE, which I'm sure you noticed.

A friend of mine has a (stock)94 TA with a LT1. I was convinced it would run mid to high 14's. I was definately surprised when he showed me a timeslip for 14.1 at 99mph! That's way faster that I thought, not too bad for a small block.lol

My '94 Formula (LT1) ran 13.9s with Hypertech and K&N.
My '98 T/A ran 13.8s but had a preignition problem we never could get rid of.
My '02 ran 13.05 with 1.8 60 ft time. It has K&N filter and Dynomax muffler. Improvements were made on each year LS1 from '98 to '01. '01 & '02 are the same.
