Well, I drove my truck yesterday without noticing any problems. Start it up today and there is a terrible shaking and the engine light comes on after a few minutes. The code was 0306. I was just wondering what this is. I can't seem to find the list of engine codes anywhere. I have a 2002 3.9L

I was actually able to find it. I left off the p in P0306. Misfire in cylinder #6. Is that correct? What would cause this and should I be worried about this?

Correct code interpretation. Caused either by missing spark or fuel.

Missing spark could be the plug, wire, or cap.

Missing fuel could be bad/clogged fuel injector, flakey injector wiring.

Most common is a plug misfire. Check there first.

Worried? You should take care of this sooner, not later. Running too long with this condition can do bad things to the cat.

What's your left foot doing?

Thanks for the response. Things are running fine now. We had some heavy wind and rain last night, think the spark plug might have gotten wet. Who knows, if it acts up again i'll get it checked out.
