 Subject: 2001 Warning lights

Both the "door ajar" and "gate open" lights are flashing slowly on my 2001 Dakota CC, Sport. Does this mean anything specific? I can't find a tail gate switch on my truck, either.

they are grounding switches and sometimes get
caroaded around them remove sand a little and
re install usualy solves the problem
sometimes they just come lose than just snug
down
