Truckperformance.com is selling this system for
$279 $10 ground shipping it used to list for
$549

So I bought 1 to try its 2 1/2 in with dual 2 1/4
tail pipes and polished stainless tips 3"

I will swear by the 11748 and 2 1/2 tail but dam
I bolted this on my 4X4 it sounds great and
testing with the back presure guage its almost
identical in back presure and sounds great quit
at crusing but raps nice when you get on it no
ricey sound here

Anyone looking for a dual system I would recomend
you check this out comes with all hardware and
mounts takes about 3 weeks to get custome made
for your truck by pacesetter warranteed for 3
years

It actualy seems to give a little better low end
I am going to dyno this thing and find out I was
running 186 189 at the wheels the last 3 runs
we will see they claim 12hp and 16 torque it may
be it pulses reale nice clearing the cyls better
at low rpm

cumputer designed the muffler is a weired looking
thing inside similer to the gibson split rear we
put on the paxon S/C 05 hemi truck

If your looking for a duel check it out I love mine

I didn't see this for a 2002 SLT, Larry. Sounds like a good buy, though!

Oops! Didn't look hard enough. Looks like they go thru 2001. I looked from '96 up thru 2001 and it was the same part number, so I'm guessing that it'll probably be OK for a 2002, right? That IS a good buy.

Larry did you mean 17748 for the super turbo muffler 2.5" inlet, 2.5" outlet?

which is like $50 by the way...

and would you still happen to have the part number for the V6 mopar performance PCM/chip for summit racing?

i remember you gave it out a while back on a thread but cant seem to find it...

thanks a lot Larry...

how much of an increase in perf would the computer do for my truck?

and what other mods should i think about in the near future that would compliment the computer?

thanks once again.

The comp will add 10 to 15 all by it self on a
motor with all the bolt ons and some port work
gasket match and head polish 15 to 18 and is
very noticeable from about 1600rpm on up there
is no speed or rev limiter in the V6 perf comp

There is a system to the madness and an order in
which they should be done
Intake first
cold air
bigger throttle body
1.7's
at this point exhaust mods will show the gains
headers low restriction cat back

now back to the intake do the gasket match if
your capible shorten the runners and remove the
devider but just the gasket match is a nice
improvement to flow its a very bad restriction

now the comp will really show its stuff

The stock heads flow very well and all that is needed is to remove a few bumps and casting leavings in the ports around the bowls and just
polish

Unless your doing major engine mods the stock head
is fine you need to be carful the V6 low end drops
off real fast when you begain to port them

clean and polish unless you plan on running
higher comp forced air induction or nitrious
is all that is needed here

The intakes also unless your doing major engine
mods and plan on running at a higher rpm just
a gasket match is all that is needed really helps
low end and at crusing speeds right were you want
some help

intake to head

just get some small sanding wheels from a hardware
store and do it yourself

with a few washers and bolts lightly bolt the
gasket to the intake and you will see all the
restriction to be removed from the intake

I also use the stiff soft strip caulk in all the
holes and paint them hemi ornge you know that
paint will add more power LOL just looks nice

gaskets around $40 to $50
intake bolts snug than 4 than 8 than 12 foot
pounds starting from center across to ends
one side other side and move towards ends
really helps low end perf
