Instead of rearranging the wiring for a different electric fan and using adjustable thermostats, wouldn't it be possible to just change out the temperature sensor for one that turns on at 195* rather than 210* ???

instead of re-wireing the actual setup for the fan control just do a GM stlye cooling fan wiring setup for a second if thats what your looking to do cause the GM coolant temp switch/sensor turns on at 210.... if your just trying get the main fan to turn on at a different temp then thats gonna consist of having the PCM reprogrammed....

Jet and hyper tech both make screw in switches
180 185 but no you cant use that in place of
the engine temp sensor

the flexolite direct coolent adjustible switchs
work very well you can set them any where you
want

mine comes on at 188 off 185 and I have never
seen one fail yet a very good switch around
$35 all these parts can be found at summitracing.

I've looked at the adjustable switches and still am confused. I want the fan to come on with the A/C and cycle at 195, but is a relay or anything else required? I want this to be a plug-n-play process and don't want to fry my electricals because I didn't properly prepare or install it correctly.
