the TB spacer really isnt a waste of money.... pending if its grooved to make a vortex so it funnels the air into the intake is the best one to run plus it acts as a cooler to cool the air as it passes by it even thought it has no vains but the walls are enough along with the vortex it can make will cool the air as well... on your exhuast... your going to want to watch what you run... the 3.9's need to stay with a 2.5 diameter pipe from cat back but you can use any high-flow muffler of your choosing... some of us on here have our stock exhuast setup but use s dynomax 17748 muffler in place of the stock muffler but you gotta cut the pipe befor the muffler back about 3 inchs cause the muffler is abit longer then the stock one.... but as long as you stay with the 2.5 diameter exhuast you wont lose any lowend torque the 3.9 produces with the back pressure the engine needs to make its power...

in our engines, yes this is true because therse not enough back pressure, yet in a perfect engine we want it to be less restricive

Everything I've seen/read says that the TB spacers are useless on the 3.9. They may work a little on the 3.7 because of the different intake style. Every test done on them shows no gains of any kind.

go back on some old posts
(do a search)
spacers have been talked about time and time again they do nothing for the 3.9
someone even put up dyno sheets to prove it!
they are a waste of money

Yea I've read a bunch of posts saying TB spacers aren't worth a damn but there are a few who will stand by them. Guess it's a hit occasionally and miss a lot kinda deal. The exhuast on the other hand will be fine. I got a Flowmaster Super 40 and I was extremely happy with it. I could feel a little extra power and it sounds awesome too. But we all like different things so it's just an opinion.
