well i got mine on thursday night.... only got about 5 hours of drive time on them noticed a changed in exhuast tone but not overly noticeable as in being loud just slight more rumble during mild accelleration.... highway accel. is better coming off yeild merges, noticed better power going up hill, it didnt down shift like it use too when i hit certain up hill climbs.... install of the rocker arms was easy... just a matter of remove old parts and bolt in new parts minus the guide plates.... but i do have to say when ya get to removing the driving the driver side valve cover.... wished i had a 3rd hand.... damn EVAP test service port and vacuum hoses are in a bad spot.... i had went re-routed the vacuum lines and all the other side of the fuel line so the valve cover would go back on easier and so that access to the far bolt near the intake would be easier to get to on the valve cover.... but overall im happy with the power increase for the amount money i spent

sounds like a mod well purchased.

more power will gradually come about as the computer learns these new rockers right?

just like a bigger throttle body and most other mods...

yeah i would have to say cause once it see's and keeps seeing that there is more air flowing into engine cause of the higher amount of air thats going to be passing by the O2's in the exhuast it will then in return add more fuel to the mixture so it wont think its runnin lean but they dont let in that much more air to really lean it out but enought to see some what of a difference in the O2 readings... i dont see these rockers being a gas saver purchase but in return with future mods and so on that it will just help with creating more power... i guess what i should have done was to take my scanner and do a data record of what it was befor i added the rockers... then do another data record to see how much of a change it saw apon the first start-up with the new rockers.... see what the O2s are seeing befor and after.... but overall yeah it was a good buy...

Hot damn!! I'm glad to hear that the downshifting is not as bad for you as it was previously - that's THE biggest peeve that I have with mine. It's just downright aggravating!!

I had to run down to GA again yesterday, and even with mid-grade, it was downshifting some to get up a hill. I filled up with 87 octane on the trip back, and I'm absolutely convinced now that the mid-grade fuel does provide me better mileage. Got 20.3 going down, 18.1 coming back.

Glad to hear the 1.7's are working for you! Now, I'll start getting antsy about having to wait for mine.
