Intake needs to be done first

cold air
bigger throttle body
1.7 rockers

headers and cat back system will show gains only
after the intake side is improved

Basic stuff
brass incerts cap and rotor Napa mo26 & mo28
good wires MSD 8.5

try the NGK FR4 stock or FR5 1 colder plug we have
been getting very good resaults with these plugs
I recomend the halo's but most will not spend the
money so we tested the NGK with great resaults

Injector sync +3
All sensors good
especialy the o2 o2's

tonno cover will help

All sythetic fluids will help

good front end alignment and proper air pressure
in tires

Theres a start

Drive gentle...ha haha a oh that's good stuff. I actually tried to drive normal and didn't change a thing. Weird cuz I drive it pretty hard some times but no change.

I got the same thing here......I drove mine with alight foot around town and got the same milage as if I were driving slightly aggressive. Of course, when I floor it my milage goes down. Then, out on the highway, my milage doesnt really get any better when I go much slower than 68. I've gone 60, and it was just a waste of time. Getting somewhere faster is worth the extra $1.50.

tire pressure can make a huge difference. someone i know very well (haha) let my, er i mean their, tire pressure get a bit low and was pleasantly surprised with an 'extra' 30 miles a tank when the tires were properly filled.

Here's one for Larry,
Why does my automatic prefer being loaded? It adapts and has better performance and sometimes better mileage.
Weirdest was filling up near the Nevada border and taking the "Shortcut" 10,000 feet up through Yosemite then down to the San Francisco Bay area.
Got 90 miles on reserve, but made it. 23MPG. By the way two guys and a load was almost 2,000lbs.
