I have a 98 dak. 3.9 in need of a new a.c. compressor. I know where I can pick up a rebuilt one, but it's off a ram 1500. The seller told me that this comp. will also fit my dakota. Does anyone know if the ram 1500 & my dakota compressors are interchangeable? Thanx.

autozone.com lists the same part #
for a 98 dakota 3.9 and a 98 Ram 1500 3.9
(both 2WD) looks like your good
