The a/c only comes on when I have the fan on high. What could be the problem? Thanks.

You mean the FAN only comes on when turned to high??
If so, it is the blower motor resistor, located in the engine bay, passenger side.
Part is 8-12 bucks.

zzark Right. The fan comes on when the switch is moved to high. When I move the switch down to the other positions I get nothing. So it's the blower motor resistor? Sounds plausible, I'll check it out. Thanks!

zzark You were right. It was the blower motor resistor. Took out the old one, which was corroded, replaced it, and no more problem! Cost me $11.00 for the part. Thanks again!!!
