you shouldnt have any problems as long as you have a frame mounted hitch. if not, the bumper is only rated for 2,000 lbs so you could damage it if you used the bumper mounted hitch.

I have a 16 1/2 foot aluminum fishing boat and I can tell it's back there. Tranny downshifts at the slightest incline! I live in Iowa where its flat to begin with! Gotta lock out the od to tow but then that keeps your speed down to 55-60. Basically the boat and trailer combo prolly weigh 1000-1200 tops and I feel unsafe keeping up with the flow of traffic.. Good luck is all I can say.......The 3.9s are dogs....

i tow my buddys boat which is about 1800 lbs with the trailer with no problems at all. i can easily keep up with and pass traffic with the boat behind me. i can barely tell that it is there. and i live in northeast georgia in the foothills of the mountains. but i do have a lot done to my truck. i am about to get a reciever hitch so that i can tow my jeep cj7 on a trailer.

I flat tow a suzuki samurai on 35's behind my 92 3.9 auto and the only thing I can tell is pulling out I just put it in first and shift it up untill I'm rolling then I can hardly tell it's back there
