What would happen if i were to put 1.7 ration rockers and the krc performance cam? How much power would i make or lose. 3.9L Auto 1999

You'll have too much lift. Keep with the 1.6 RR's and a KRC cam. The new roller rockers even stock height increase power due to less friction. The 200 cam for the V6 is designed for use with the 1.6's. Has alot of lift as it is.

If doing a cam, and not having roller rockers--- Go with a set of 1.6s (crower recommended of course)-- and a cam.

Otherwise, I have Crower custom grind cams for V6s w/1.7s...

Yep you definitely dont want to mix the two unless the cam is custom. Go with the 1.6's

With the correct springs you can run the krc 200 cam with 1.7 rockers just fine. Without other mods, all the extra lift will hurt your bottom end performance though. It will make the cam a 200/206duration 536/544lift. As long as you get the proper vale springs you would be fine. bernd ratch runs this exact combo.
