 Subject: ecu upgrades

I have a 1997 Dakota 3.9L. I have done a few improvements to the truck,series 40 flow master, TB spacer, cold air intake w/K&N filter , bosch platnum 4 point spark plugs. I want to put a ecu upgrade on the truck. Reading other forum messages I am not shure what computer chip will give me the best H.P. and preformance, can enyone give there input?also might replace fuleinjectos is this agood idea?

I too have a 97 Dakota and most all of the ecu upgrades are for 1998 and up. 1997 was the first year for the Gen III and changes were made in 1998 and up. So when it comes to ECUs, we don't have a lot of choices. There are a few shops who offer ECU reprogramming for our 1997s but I have not tried one yet.
As for the fuel injectors, I went with FMS 19# injectors from FiveO motor sports. Well work the effort.
