I need to no where is the vehicule speed sensor on my dakota 97 a/t 4x4 the dealer tell me a got 2 sensor,(speed sensor) and (vehicule speed sensor)thanks

rear wheel speed sensor is in the center section of the rear differential. symptoms include, ABS/Brake light on and speedometer not functioning under about 25mph.

My '98 3.9L did the same thing. Turned out it was the speed sensor that sits right on top of the rear differential. Pretty easy replacement even for a noob.
