Got a 2002 Dak with a 3.9 looking to get some performance exhaust but not sure to get Stainless or Aluminized steel. Money isnt an option either way would be great, also looking to put some headers on it, but have no idea what brand to buy. IAm going for a deep throaty agressive sound but the exhaust has to be compact becasuse of the 4/6 drop. Looking to get dual side exits or sport exhaust.

stainless steel is the way to go if you want it to last more then just a winter if you are in the northern states like myself. With a v6 your not gonna get a very deep sound like you would with an 8 thats a fact, i dont suggest dual exhuast but if you want an easy kit that you can throw up on your truck check out a Gibson with Sport Dauls. As for headers the only ones i could find that would work for a 2000+ dakota is the JBA headers...umm as for a cat check out megnaflow on like Jegs.com or Summitracing.com

I have a 99 3.9 Dak with a 40 series flowmaster on it with dual exit. I think it sounds great. Not as good as I would imagine a v8 would of course, but it was money well spent.
