Folks i need help with this one...I have a 89 dakota with a rebuilt V6. The problem is that it will not run worth a dam. I have changed out MAp, TPS, fuel regulator, fuel pump,egr,ASD regulator,
wires, plugs,and rotor. Yet i still get code 24.
The second problem is that I am not shifting right...I hear 2nd and 3rd sometime but it is rough. The speedometer seems to bounce around too
much. Do not get my backup lights after changing out the neutral safety switch and will only start in park. Need help or will shoot this vehicle.Also forgot have headers on this vehicle.

Wiring /"dirty" connections or computer !
Make sure battery cables and connections clean
and solid.
Clean and tighten up all chassis/ground connections..

24 is TPS sensor voltage out of spec. Test it with a multimeter?

turn igniton on, engine off. Probe middle connector. Should be > 200 milivolts.

open the throttle plate with your hand, should see the voltage increase as the throttle plate opens. It should not exceed 4.96V. According to alldatadiy.com for my 95 ,it should be < 4.8 volts at WOT.
