this is the code I am getting.Engine temp sensor, down near the thermo A/C side 2 wires?? haveing trouble with engine missing, possible cause or another problem like crank sensor as was suggested to me earlier, thanks

Replace the sensor and see if it fixes the missfire.
It would also help if you tell us what engine..trans...year...

so the sensor is likely shot then?, it is a 2000 Dakota with a 3.9l, sorry I forgot the info.
