this was on a G-tech so the track times would be slower. the mods on this truck are tb spacer and now muffler. 4.3 97 cc auto

and some mods to slow it down!

You have to do about 5 runs and average out the times if you use a G-Tech. I have one and thats what the instructions tell you to do. If you will notice, you will hardly ever get the same times twice with the G-Tech. I think they are a piece of crap and are false. Go to the track and use the proper timers if you really want accuracy. Sounds like you need some more mods to make er go faster anyways.

i would much rather run my truck at the drag strip but its to far and to expensive
we did 3 runs and 2 were 16.42 and one was 16.52 with a bad launch.
fed..lol..i think your clock radio is slow
and some mods to slow it down!

haha it sure isnt! lol
i raced my friend in his camry 4 banger 5 speed in a 1/4 mile
race and i whooped on him! haha the 4.10s helped out so much,
he used to beat me and i had'nt raced him since
it was a good feeling...
oh and check out the "rear end posi" thread to read bout what
else i did that night!

i sure hope that i get a posi and some 3.90 gears.
i just took apart a 318 and the bottom end is in great shape. that maybe a project in the future?
and some mods to slow it down!

haha yeahh! go for it
im planning on rebuilding my engine sometime next year along with putting in a new cam, rocker arm kit, and port/polish the heads.
gonna be fun and SWEET

after taking apart that engine i'm not so afraid to do a cam swap in mine. i would love to do the 1.7 rr
and some mods to slow it down!
