for the tv all you do is remove the white clip that hold the throttle cable in and adjust accordingly (remove slack) but not much at all. then put clip back. for the tps... i can't comment on not breaking anything...he he he

n8 dawg,

i made that comment about breaking stuff because when i was doing my tps mod with...uhh... not important, i was told just to bang the brass looking sleeves out with a srewdriver and hammer. 5 whacks later a had a tps in 6 different pieces and had to run up to the dodge dealer for a new tps....well $65 later and a drill i finished the mod. i just drilled the sleeves out... after it gets hot the drill kinda pushes the sleeves out. i would say i could tell a difference but the iat relocation would beat that mod anyday.
for the tv. just pull the tv cable off of the throttle body. then remove the white retaining clip towards the bracket (by the back passenger side of the throttle body). push the cable in about 1/32 of an inch and replace the clip and put the cable back on the throttle body....voila!

yeah a screwdriver and hammer works well if you want to break something but a hammer will do fine by itself.

and the tv cable if its the white clip isnt mine attached to the tps? or is that just another white clip? lol

and when drilling the sleeves out and puting it back on do i remove the white clip to see the voltage or leave it on and just go up throgh the wrap on the wire???

and when i get the V8 TB will i have to do the same thing to it???

the white clip you are talking about is the harness that plugs into the tps.... the white clip for the tv that i am talking about is on the other side of the throttle body in the linkage. it is on one of the cables... i should have pictures somewhere... i will look for them

you are confussing me. did you remove the cable from the throttle linkage first.... after you remove the linkage from the throttle cable...then remove the clip...then push the wire back into the retainer about 1/32 of an inch and then put clip back...then put cable back onto throttle body...

Intense, do you ever find that your auto downshifts when you don't want it to?
I'm not gonna post a pic of my engine, that is for sure! It has all the evidence of this endless Canadian winter all over it.

no.... it downshifts pretty d@mn well. that is the one thing i like about it. i adjusted the tv cable a little the other day and it changed a little but i might do more. the only problem i am having is ever since i hit 45000 miles second gear will slip just a little every once in a while. i think it just needs all the fluids pulled out and replaced. and maybe the bands adjusted. not too worried about it going dead because from everything i have heard it's fourth or third gear that dies on these things. plus i have been driving it 4000 miles since it started and if it were to die i think it would of done it by now. (when tranny goes/big block comes in!he he he)

dawg
well good luck with your show... my truck isn't any where near complete to get into any shows. the coil over cross member needs to be painted, need to buy a metal rolledpan, finish shaving the back... get it painted, and straighten the hole in the bed... kinda makes the dirty engine look minor.

It's pretty nippy out so mine is running great, but sometimes when I have it floored, it will drop down. I had the tranny tuned last spring, mebbe it is time for another.

There is a used roll pan on ebay.
I'm not a roll pan person, I like my truck to look more like a truck, but they do present a clean look.
