Hey guys I just got my first dakota, 99 3.9 4x2 cc. I pick it up tomarrow, and I plan on giving it an oil change, and a tune up when I get it, and need some advice. I have read posts where people talk aboutthe 3293 plugs what brand are these, and are they really the best plug for my truck? Where can I get them? Also what mm wires do you recomend? Last question does it have a distributer or coils?

the 3293's are autolite. you should be able to pick these up at your local parts store. if you are going to do a tune up, i recommend that you get a brass cap and rotor. i have taylor 8.5mm wires on my truck and they work great. and for the last question, it has a distributor with one coil. the coil is located on the front passenger side of the engine.

I checked Autolite website and they don't list 3923s anymore. They got there 3924 instead. And the dealer at the performance shop I use, recommended NGK 7 instead. He said they are as good as 3923. Any comments there on NGK?
