Subject: 2000 tb on a 94?

i have a bored throttle body off of my 2000 quad cab v6. will this work on a '94 dakota. i have read that until '95, they had egr ports on the tb bores. any advise would be greatly appreciated.

Cure for the 1494 Blues

It's about putting an older tb on a newer truck...so you'd just have to figure out how to go about reversing the directions. I think all you gotta do is plug the right holes, but I'm not positive...never tried it before.

thanks gb2000. the problem is that i am trying to sell a non egr tb to someone with an egr. that is what i need to know if that is possible or not. if not i can get an older egr tb to bore for him instead.

When you do this a lot of the trucks will have
idle issues

You can use 2 plugs on the base and redrill the
vac port but its a lot of un nessasary work

Better off to get a 92 to 95 EGR type
