I have a 1995 Dodge Dakota 3.9, it is 4x4 ext cab. I want to lift it. One of my friends said i can put a strait axle front end and get rid of the torsion bars. This will make the lift alot easier and cheaper. Does anyone know if this is true, and about how much would it cost, and where i would get a strait front axle for it.

Yeah, tightening the torsion bars up is about all you could do for a lift before massive amounts of money are needed for a straight axle or fabtech IFS lift.
