I put a v8 throttle body on now the idle speed is around 950 almost too high to pass emissions does anyone know how to lower the idle .

The V8 TB shouldn't have affected your idle speed. I know mine wasn't, if anything, it idles slower. Did you clean your IAC? One other cause might be a small vaccuum meak caused by either the gasket or your MAP sensor vaccuum nipple(or check the manifold nipples themselves). Also, check the throttle plates for any dirt ot debris that might cause them to be cracked open at closed throttle.

If it ain't broke, fix it til it is.

Hey paul, If you don't find a leak or it still idles high after cleaning the IAC, you could pop off the little cap that covers the idle adjustment screw and back it off a bit. I had to do that to mine also. Check all that other stuff first, though.
