Can any one tell me what changes they did to the new 3.9.My dak seems to act and run alot differnt then most (in a good way).I am a mechanic(diesel) but most of what i'm good with is older chevy's and i don't know much about mopar.Any help would be nice Thanks.

I experienced the same with my Dak of the same year. I run the 1/4 in the low 16's with speed in the high eighties. That's quicker than most that post here. Mine did not respond well to the 3923 plugs but did well with thw 5224's gapped at 44.Mine is a SLT+ with all options. I also had the computer die on it and Mopar didn't have one to replace it so they installed a performance computer. It did pickup the high end alittle. I let my daughter take it back to college with her but it died on the way. Dodge has been unable to fix it- heck, they can't get it to run long enough to get off the lot. So, the end of April I am going to Georgia to signoff on the thing and get a check from Chrysler. Too bad- enjoyed the truck.
