Has anyone replaced their belt driven fan with an electric fan? If so, can you enlighten me on the parts you used and a basic run down of the install?

I used the black magic fan from Summit. All parts and instructions come with the fan.
'98 cc auto /Home brew cold air with K&N,Dynomax, Superchip Tuner, 1.7 RR,, F&B tb. NAPA cap and rotor, 3923 plugs,tps mod,relocated & switchable iat, 180 t'stat, Crankshaft sensor mod.,PVI,Ported and Polished manifold, bosch injectors,Black Magic Elec Fan, msd wiires

Black Magic all the instructions and hardware included hardest time i had was getting the clutch fan off
the Black Magic went in easy

Summit offers a few. Black magic is the most expensive but also the most complete. I'm looking into doing the same thing but I think I'm going to go with the Perma Cool. Flows a little more air and draws off less amperage. Also it's about $100 cheaper. Thing is, is that you need a T-Stat for it so it knows when to turn on and off. My question with the electric fan is how well does it work off road?

the black magic has a heat sensor and an adjustable thermo also its own shroud
100$ more but you get what you pay for
and there worth every penny
