I pulled the code on my 2001 Dakota with automatic transmission. It display P1762, Governor Pressure Sensor and I saw numerous posting on this site concerning this sensor.
None of the postings mention what year their truck were, does anyone know were the sensor is located on the 2001 model and what steps to replace it. My truck is very slow to excel shifting up in gears and the check light will not reset. I would appreciate help, thanks Robert.
