What happens when the PCM is reflashed? Would this fix the problem of my check engine light coming on for the power steering pressure switch?

Think I could convince Dodge to do that for free? I have no warranty.

Reflash is usually done to stop
engine " ping " = retards the timing
= loss of horsepower..
No- I doubt very much if it would stop that code.
Fix , or add some ' conditioner ' to pwr steer..

What year is it, and does it even have a switch? There have people in the past that this has happened to that don't even have a switch, and they are getting that code.

If it ain't broke, fix it til it is.

nope it doesnt have the switch period. I called dodge, they said they could try to program it, or hard wire a switch in.

Anyone have any idea how to do this? Such a simple task, just need info and I know i'de walk out paying dodge $100 for it.

Anyone have access to the technical bulletins for anything close to this year? I've read people from 2000-2003 having this problem. I'm gonna sell my truck once its fixed so I dont wanna subscribe to a technical bulletin, unless I have to, or even if I knew the fix was posted.
